Accountant (Part-time or Full-time) Full Time Part Time

Our client a small Accounting firm is looking for an Accountant to join their small and dynamic team in Nicosia.

The role:

• Previous experience of two years with an accounting/auditing firm.
• Being able to work alone in an effective manner in order to meet deadlines but also being able to work well with others.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with basic accounting softwares.
• Fluency in both English and Greek (written and spoken).
• BSc in accounting or relevant degree (Not mandatory).
• LCCI Accounting (Not mandatory).

About you:

• Knowledge of book-keeping/accounting software programs.
• Knowledge of other office duties such as completion of quarterly VAT forms, Vies return & Tax. returns(Taxisnet,TFA), monthly payroll preparation, registrar returns etc.
• Maintaining client contact and communication.
• Preparing financial statements from the Trial Balance stage in line with acceptable accounting standards.
• Any other ad -hoc tasks / duties assigned by the management.
